繊維そのものがとても重く、羊毛と比べてバネやコシが少なく、つるりと滑るような手触りがあります。
これは羊毛に見られる「クリンプ（繊維のうねり）」がほとんどないためと考えられます。
The fiber itself is relatively heavy and has less elasticity and spring than wool, with a smooth, slippery feel.
This is likely due to the lack of crimp, the natural waviness found in wool fibers.
繊維長はやや長めです。
撚りが伝わりやすいため、ゆっくりと撚りを入れながら紡ぐことをおすすめします。
リャマ100％でトップから紡ぐ場合は、あらかじめ細く割いておくと扱いやすくなります。

リャマ繊維の中でも、比較的上質な部類に入るものと思われます。
